How is the adhesive quantity calculated?
We multiply your tiling area by a representative consumption rate (kg/m²) for the selected tile size and notch trowel, then add your chosen wastage allowance. The result is rounded up to whole bags.
Why add a wastage allowance?
Real sites lose adhesive to uneven substrates, trowel spillage, cuts and back-buttering. A 10% allowance is typical; increase it for rough or out-of-level surfaces.
Which bag size should I buy?
Zectora adhesives come in 20 kg and 40 kg bags. The calculator shows both — pick whichever suits your handling and storage.
Are these numbers exact?
They are planning estimates. Actual consumption varies with substrate flatness, trowel technique and tile type. Always confirm against the product datasheet and site conditions before ordering.
